Christmas
Christmas is my favorite holiday among others. Why? Well, we have Christmas because our savior was born, the messiah named Jesus Christ. He was not born in a sensible place and he did not live a regular life like all of us and in the end he died. Jesus should be a big part of our life for he sacrificed himself just so he can save us, all the people, even the ones who ignored him, even the ones who did not help him when he was begging for it from all the sins of the world. After a long period of time, we came and now we celebrate Christmas. We celebrate Christmas by spending it with our loved ones. We celebrate advent for preparation and we also do different activities before this holiday like caroling, Christmas shopping and other works. Then as the day or the night before December 25 comes, we celebrate it until the main day comes. We dine with the family, we share stories, share laughter and my favorite part, we exchange our gifts with other but before all of that we attend mass first because the main idea of this occasion is Jesus Christ’s birth
Bridget
I am a Bridgetine, therefore I study in St. Bridget School QC. We call it by it’s abbreviated form-SBS or in a shorter term, Bridget . It is very meaningful for such a simple reason, St. Bridget School is my first home in my high school life and my classmates are my first family. Technically speaking we can not change this fact. This alphabet also stands for Bridgetines because I am one. These people are the ones studying in SBS. These are the talented, sociable yet smart and they still stay or can be very simple students. They have self-discipline and self-determination and even at a young age you can see that they have potential in different activities & careers. Like what I said earlier, even though Bridgetines can be like that on the outside they can still be very simple on the inside. This can be an effect of the simplicity policy applied here but I know that other Bridgetines are intentionally like that. St. Bridget School is exclusive for girls only but the students can be engaged in such activities that co-ed & all-boys school are also committed too. If you are a Bridgetine, be proud because this school is like no other.
